We, at One Red Step at a Time, a Utah nonprofit corporation (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we believe that every gift makes a difference. We are committed to using your donations responsibly and transparently to advance our mission of fostering open, supportive conversations about mental health by uniting communities, breaking down stigma, and promoting education and empathy–one person, one story at a time.

501(c)(3) Status

One Red Step at a Time is a nonprofit organization, currently in the process of obtaining tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our EIN is 33-7041706. Your contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

1.  TYPES OF DONATIONS WE ACCEPT

We gratefully accept the following types of donations:

·      One-time or recurring monetary donations, via credit card, ACH, or check

·      In-kind donations, such as goods, services, or supplies

·      Matching gifts from employers

·      Bequests and legacy gifts

2.  PRIVACY & DONOR DETAILS

We respect your privacy. We do not sell, trade, or share donor information with anyone outside of the Company. If you wish to gift anonymously, please let us know when making your gift.

3.  TAX RECEIPTS

All donors will receive a written acknowledgement for tax purposes. If you donate on our website online, you will receive an email receipt immediately. For mailed or in-kind donations, we will send you a written acknowledgement promptly.

4.  REFUNDS

Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a mistake has occurred, please contact us at admin@oneredstepatatime.org within 14 days of the transaction, with all applicable details, so that we may promptly address your concern.
